About Us

We are Publisher Textiles & Papers. This is our new blog called "Tales from a Printroom". We are one of a handful of fully Australian-owned hand screen printing companies based in Sydney. We hand screen print onto wallpaper and textiles which are available online and in-store. All of our own designs are by us and most of them are designed by owner and screen printer Mark Cawood. 
The other section to our business is commission printing for other clients. For them we print just fabric meterage (yardage) for home-ware, textile and fashion designers within the Australian market. Some of our most recent clients are the likes of Dion Lee, Akira Isagowa, Haryono Setiadi, Ginger & Smart, Romance Was Born, Bruce Goold, Polli Design, Funkis, Made 590, Dragstar, Surface Art to some beautiful Indigenous Textile Artists such as; Merrepen Arts, modernmurri, Gaawaa Miyay and Mimi Designs.

We want to share with you the day in the life of the print room, from designs we do, printing we complete to helping, giving tips and advice for hand screen printing, with what we have learnt to get to where you are. 
Sadly this industry is slowly dyeing out and what better way to keep it alive, is to share this information.
